1. ADDING AND EDITING CHECKLIST TASKS
</aside>
- To add new tasks to existing categories, simply click 'New' in the appropriate category view—this will automatically assign the correct category property. In this case, all you need to do is:
- Fill in the task name
- Fill in the task deadline
- You can also add tasks in the master database ().
- If you have a long list of tasks and the box no longer aligns neatly with the image, you can replace the image with a longer version or add another image below to maintain aesthetic consistency.
- Click the 'Done' button when you complete a task—it will automatically update the status and hide the deadline from view.
- Click 'Undone' to mark the task as incomplete.
- To get started with this template, reset the example deadlines and 'Completed' statuses by clicking the 'RESET CHECKLIST & PROGRESS' button at the bottom of the main page.
- Please note that updating the page icons (checkmarks) cannot be automated—you’ll need to update them manually. Alternatively, you can leave them as plain boxes to save time and avoid extra work.

2. ADDING AND EDITING THE CATEGORIES
</aside>
-
Edit and/or add your reset categories in this database: .
-
When editing or adding the categories, all you need to do is:
- Fill in the category name
- Change the page icon
- Upload an image for the category (in the ‘Files & media’ property)
→ Note that the progress bar updates automatically, as you mark tasks ‘Done’.
-
If you added a completely new category in the database, you’ll also need to add a new section as visualized below:
-
The easiest way to do it is to copy an existing section. To do this, select all the parts you want to copy: the title, image and the callout box with the checklist (as visualized above) and paste that wherever you want to place the new category.
-
Change the title, update the image and remember to edit the checklist settings in that new section. To change the checklist settings, hover over the new checklist section and click the blue filter icon (see image below):
-
Change the filter that says ‘Category’ to only show your newly created category.
-
Finally, close the filter settings by clicking the same blue filter icon.
